The project aims to provide awareness and information to the victims of violence, and to do so at the workplace or at the time of integration in employment. To this end, the project will develop a training course for specific target groups in order to enable them to assist the beneficiaries in finding employment or staying in work. This project also aims to develop a process integrating a range of different measures to deal with different aspects of the issue of domestic violence.
The programme is in line with the recommendation on domestic violence against women issued by the European Economic and Social Committee (Opinion SOC/218).

DAEL: Disabled Adults in Experimental Learning Programme
The project “DAEL: Disabled Adults in Experimental Learning Programme” within the framework of Lifelong Learning Programme Grundtvig 2007- 2013 aims to share and compare methods and innovative approaches in the field of training, employment and social inclusion of adult disabled people, in particular methods target to:
- Observe and put in evidence basis and key competencies of disabled adults in job contexts
- Improve the validation of non- formal and informal learning outcomes, taking into account the different needs of adult disabled learners
- Recognize the observed and evaluated competences in order to improve social insertion and job insertion of disabled people: Guidance & counseling action

The partnership ASK seeks to analyse different methods of assessing and certificating non-formal and informally acquired skills in vocational education and training in the participating regions. The partnership brings together organisations which are already using more or less standardized methods in their training courses. However, they feel their assessment tools and certification process could be improved. Thus the overall aim of the project is to identify possibilities for optimizing existing methods by learning from other partners in Europe.

DIA-EU: Dialogue with the EU; The voices of the European Citizens

This project aims thus at empowering citizens with the necessary knowledge and civic competences to express their opinions on issues like the European integration process and the EU policies and their impact by involving them in a series of activities where they will learn what mechanisms the EU makes available to them to give their opinions (forums, platforms, opinion polls, e.t.c.). The project also aims at developing the feeling of citizenship within the European Union and at enhancing tolerance and mutual understanding between European citizens, respecting and promoting cultural and linguistic diversity, while contributing to intercultural dialogue.

PoD; Professional Training of Parents of Children with Down Syndrome, has come to a successful end. Two years of intensive European collaboration has resulted in a comprehensive training tool meant to assist relatives, volunteer workers and professionals alike in supporting a person with Down Syndrome through life. Constituting a DVD, a CD and an accompanying booklet, the tool has been taken through a pilot phase, testing its validity and relevance with target groups, where it scored top marks from the panels in all four participating countries (Greece, Spain, Romania and Italy). Smart Home for Elderly People (HOPE) is an integrated, smart platform that enables elderly people with Alzheimer's disease to use innovative technology for a more independent life, easy access to information, monitor their health, and serve as a source of inspiration for users as well as for people working with assistive devices. Moreover, it enables them to perform by themselves activities they were not able to do before and which are important for their daily personal life. HOPE consists of a self-operated, self-adjusted, innovative intelligent IP Based Universal Control Box (UCB) that use intelligence to manage the various connected subsystems and devices within a residence of the elderly people.

User-Sensitive Home-based Systems for Successful Ageing in a Networked Society (AGNES) is a project that goes well beyond the state of the art in integrating diverse technologies and products into new innovative solutions, all in the service of helping to prevent and manage chronic conditions such as mild cognitive impairment and dementia in the elderly person still living in their own home. AGNES will provide a basic ICT platform to create and maintain an easy-to-use web-based social network for individual elderly persons. This platform will be used to stimulate the elderly person. The in-home system will be enhanced with technology to assess the subjective and objective states of the elderly person along carefully selected parameters. Timely information will be passed to the network on the activities and subjective state of the elderly person (e.g. presence, state of wellness, etc.).
