KMOP is seeking to recruit a Tirana-based Office Manager/ Local Project Officer for an EU-funded project in Albania. The Office Manager/ Local Project Officer will be responsible for the local backstopping and project management at local level and will support the Project Manager and Grant Scheme expert.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration, economics, social sciences, or other relevant background)

2 years of professional experience in project management of EU-funded projects, including financial backstopping, Preparation of Administrative Reports, record keeping, reporting, monitoring, overseeing project budgets, preparation of Project Steering Committee meetings and events, minutes-drafting, etc.

  • Strong skills in drafting well-structured reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Albanian
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office

Additionally:

  • Experience in implementing projects of the social sector
  • Experience in implementing projects in the field of Grant Scheme support, monitoring and implementation will be considered as an asset
  • Masters degree will be considered as an asset

Tasks:

Daily administrative tasks (administrative and financial management, office communication, preparation of reports, filing)

Assisting in project meetings (face to face and online)

Support in drafting reports for EU project

Collating supporting documents for projects according to EU rules

Producing financial reports for the Project Manager

Coordinating events and logistics organisation
