About KMOP

KMOP is a Social Action and Innovation Center with more than 40 years of accumulated experience in the provision of services to disadvantaged groups. In a rapidly changing world where existing theories and ideologies cannot give answers to the contemporary problems, KMOP’s scope is to contribute actively in the current debate, through its actions and innervations. KMOP’s main areas of expertise include social welfare, health and in particular mental health, employability, education and skill development, human rights protection, migration and gender discrimination. Apart from direct provision of services through decentralised community based facilities, counseling and educational services, KMOP is also active in scientific research and in the provision of capacity building to public authorities and CSOs. KMOP is currently active in six counties: Greece, Albania, FYROM, Kosovo, Moldavia and Serbia.

We are looking for a creative and passionate graphic designer to join us in our offices in Kifissia. You will work on diverse projects to illustrate solutions with high visual impact, design visual identities, websites and e-learning platforms, publications, brochures, banners and e-banners etc.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Work in close collaboration with project and communication managers
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for visual identities, websites and e-learning platforms, publications, brochures, banners and e-banners etc.
  • Collate multi-page documents or digital documents.
  • Review final layouts, make improvements if required and overview the final production (publishing)
  • Develop templates (using Microsoft Office tools)
  • Website design using WordPress and Joomla or other CMS
  • Identify cost effective solutions for printing needs.

 

Requirements

  • Proven graphic designing experience (demonstrate portfolio)
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Up to date with industry leading software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the printing market will be considered as an asset
  • Basic video editing skills will be considered as an asset
  • Animation development skills will be considered as an asset
