Family and Child Care Center is participating in the implementation of the European project “ScienceLit: Scientific Literacy for All”. “ScienceLit” targets at unemployed people, especially those over 55 years old and vulnerable young people aged 18 – 34 years old.

The project aims at making science more attractive and promoting Scientific Literacy to the social groups named above. The participants will be given the necessary tools and through targeted actions and specific methodology, will have easy access to scientific knowledge and will develop key competences.

Coordinator of the project is Asociacion de Personas Participantes – AGORA organization from Spain. Apart from KMOP, partners of the project are: : Razvojno Izobrazevalni Center - RIC Novo Mesto (Slovenia), Federacio d'Associacions Culturals i Educatives de Persones Adultes - FACEPA (Spain), Deutsches Institut fuer Erwachsenenbildung eV Leibniz-Zentrum fur Lebenslanges Lernen - DIE (Germany).
