Unveiling MATRIX: Empowering youth for a future of opportunities

We are excited to share that the inaugural newsletter of the project MATRIX – STRATEGIC MAPPING OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT is now available! The MATRIX project aims to tackle the pressing issue of youth unemployment by fostering better employability skills among young people in partner countries and the wider European Union.

In this newsletter, you will find updates on the progress and accomplishments of the project, as well as valuable insights into the comprehensive, coherent, and coordinated actions being undertaken. Here are some of the key highlights:

  • Developing a coherent strategy and roadmap: MATRIX is working towards the identification of talent needs in specific sectors and providing tailored training packages for Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools.
  • Enhancing VET quality and attractiveness: The project is focused on promoting job opportunities and employment prospects to make VET more appealing and impactful.
  • Comprehensive skills development: MATRIX is committed to delivering a holistic skills development program that empowers youth to explore, train, and retrain themselves for future employment and self-employment.
  • Equipping youth for global competitiveness: The project aims to equip young people with the knowledge and skills required to not only excel within their own country but also thrive in the international job market.

We encourage you to dive into the first MATRIX newsletter to gain a deeper understanding of our mission, progress, and plans for addressing youth unemployment.
