Youth Regained project concludes with partners’ meeting in Spain

KMOP together with the organisations CPIP (Romania), SYNTHESIS Center for Research and Education (Cyprus), Redial Partnership CLG (Ireland), Social Innovation Fund (Lithuania) and Acción Laboral (Spain), participated in the EU-funded Youth Regained project. The aim was to address the issue of juvenile delinquents re-offending after their release, by identifying the main life skills they lack and developing training materials to this end for both youth offenders and educators.

In December 2023, the project partners met in Valladolid (Spain) to discuss the final steps.

The project results include:

  • a Good Practice Guide concerning the main life skills lacking in young offenders that could significantly increase their employability
  • an E-course on soft skills which has been tested in detention centres in the consortium countries, including with vulnerable young people
  • an Awareness Raising and Policy Toolkit for Civil Society Organisations and a training guide that includes activities and training material.
