ABOUT KMOP
KMOP, founded in 1977 in Greece, is a leading civil society organization dedicated to providing social support services and designing and implementing various initiatives that empower and enhance the well-being of individuals and communities. We are looking for Projects Managers & Senior Project Managers for social impact and innovation projects funded by international donors (e.g. Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF, Horizon Europe, Interreg Europe). He/She coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring smooth running of activities, quality of outputs and the representation of KMOP at local and international levels. In addition, he/she will collaborate with researchers, finance and communication teams, and a rich network of European organisations and stakeholders to make each project’s outcome count.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organise, and adapt taks to achieve projects’ and KMOP’s goals, foreseeing and managing risks, timelines, and deliverables
- Directly implement and execute key activities such as project meetings, preparation of documentation, progress reports, research support, development and reviewing of project outputs, and preparation of final reports
- Coordinate the implementation of projects’ tasks assigned to project partners and/or internal teams (e.g. communication, finance, translation), ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery while promoting efficient teamwork and collaboration
- Initiate, manage and cultivate relations with external stakeholders, including project partners, donors, EU agencies, and local communities, ensuring effective communication and successful collaboration
- Contribute to the identification, design, and development of new project proposals, ensuring alignment with KMOP’s strategic priorities and funding opportunities
- Represent KMOP in local and international forums, ensuring the organization’s visibility and fostering partnerships to support its mission
The Project Manager & Senior Project Manager:
- Maintains confidentiality and upholds ethical standards as per organizational policies
- Adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics for integrity in all procurement activities
- Refers to the Unit Coordinator of the organization
REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in a field relevant to KMOP’s programme areas.
- At least 2+ years (5+ years for the Senior Project Manager role) of experience in EU-funded projects management and implementation
- Good knowledge and understanding of EU procedures and project design & management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English and Greek, and ability to adapt messages to fit the needs of a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet strict deadlines
- Experience in managing teams (for the Senior Project Manager role)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Considered Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in relevant field will be considered an asset
- Proficiency in a second foreign language
