KMOP invites you to the international conference “Empowering Women and Girls through Safe Spaces”, taking place on Thursday, March 20, from 16:30 to 20:30 at WHEN HUB (Sokratous 29, Athens).
Together with representatives from the European Commission, institutional bodies and CSOs across Europe, we will explore the vital role of safe spaces and collective action in protecting and empowering women and girls facing vulnerability and potential risks of human trafficking.
We will discuss the following topics:
- Creating a Protection Network for Victims of Human Trafficking
- Empowering Women with a Migrant Background Through a Holistic Integration Model
- The Role of Safe Spaces in Women’s Empowerment: A European Approach
The discussion will be conducted in English and is open to professionals supporting women and individuals facing multiple vulnerabilities, as well as those working with victims of human trafficking. The general public is also welcome to attend.
The event will officially open with greeting speeches from:
