On October 15, we participated in the “Youth Priorities for the Future of the EU” event in Brussels, organized in collaboration with Stand Up for Europe and JEF Belgium.
This event brought together representatives from the European Commission, Members of the European Parliament, experts, policymakers, and civil society organizations from across Europe to discuss various topics, including youth engagement and education, environmental sustainability, gender equality, inclusion, and human rights.
In this context, we hosted an Interactive Session where more than 40 young participants express their views on significant EU issues through a series of educational games. From stepping into the role of Mayor on “Cohesion Island” to testing their knowledge of EU Cohesion Policy, attendees acted as decision-makers, tackling key challenges and exploring how EU funds can support sustainable and inclusive development across Europe.

Additionally, during a fruitful session, we engaged in discussions, exchanged knowledge, and networked with policymakers, experts, and fellow civil society organizations focusing primarily on youth-related issues.
At KMOP, we are committed to continuing these vital conversations, ensuring that youth voices are not only heard but actively shape a brighter future for everyone. We believe that by engaging young people in meaningful dialogue, we can create policies and initiatives that truly reflect their needs and aspirations. Together, we can build a more inclusive and vibrant future for everyone.
