An inclusive workplace takes shape in everyday decisions: how we recruit, communicate, organise work and support career progression.
For neurodivergent employees, these decisions can make a significant difference. Yet HR professionals and managers often lack practical guidance on how to respond to different needs, including those of autistic employees who are undiagnosed or choose not to disclose their diagnosis.
KMOP is joining organizations from Portugal, Bulgaria, Italy and Spain in “Unveiling Potentials”, a European initiative to help employers turn awareness of neurodiversity into better workplace practices.
Over the next two years, we will be cooperating to develop:
🔹 Practical training material to challenge misconceptions about autism and improve recruitment and employee support.
🔹 An online self-assessment to help organisations identify gaps in their workplace practices and priorities for improvement.
🔹 Mentoring programmes from neurodiversity experts to help HR teams and managers apply inclusive approaches in their daily work.
🔹 Recommendations informed by mentoring and workplace workshops to improve communication, teamwork and support.
Our aim is to help foster workplaces where different needs are understood, strengths are recognised and neurodivergent people have opportunities to develop their careers.
