On June 26, KMOP educated and raised awareness among 12 informal caregivers about improving services for people with dementia and helping them build better social relationships with their patients. The training took place at the Psychogeriatric Association “Nestor”, the largest provider of free services for the elderly in our country today.
During the event, KMOP’s representatives introduced valuable resources for informal caregivers, including the Self-Care Manual for Informal Caregivers, online dementia training, and the results of piloting interactive virtual reality (VR) training with informal caregivers. The seminar also provided a platform for discussions on common myths and facts about dementia.
