ParentBank selected as a “Good Practice in Inclusive Entrepreneurship”

It is with great pleasure that  we announce that the ParentBank project, aiming to facilitate the labor market integration of low-income single parents, has been selected as a GOOD PRACTICE IN INCLUSIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP by the “Action against Hunger Spain”’s European Network of Innovation for Inclusion.

The work that KMOP has done during the project implementation was recognised as “a very impactful and inclusive response to the different challenges single parents face in terms of social inclusion and access to the labour market”.

Οn the 3rd of November 2022, KMOP will attend the European event hosted in Madrid in order to present the ParentBank initiative, while in December 2022 it will be joining other awarded organizations in Turin to discuss the design and implementation of new common projects promoting inclusive entrepreneurship.

About the project

The Erasmus+ funded project ParentBank, aiming to facilitate the labor market integration of low-income single parents by promoting their access to childcare and other services that they may be unable to afford, has designed two training programmes; one improving single parents’ skills, and another one improving professionals’ ability to foster single parents’ employability, socio-educational and personal development. An online time bank has been also developed to facilitate the exchange of services that single parents cannot afford (i.e childcare), enabling them to search for jobs and training seminars, which will enhance their standard of living.
