Challenge

Recent studies reveal that 21% of female athletes have experienced sexual abuse as children in sports, nearly double the rate of male athletes. Although some progress has been made with safeguarding policies, more specialized efforts are needed to prevent and address gender-based violence in and through sports.

Innovation

Sport GVP takes a holistic approach to prevent and tackle gender-based violence in sports. By understanding the challenges and realities of this issue through research, it aspires to provide a comprehensive training program for sports professionals to prevent and address gender-based violence in the sports community.
