The FABCOM project, with KMOP contributing to its implementation, supports the transition from institutional to community-based care across Europe by promoting inclusion, independence, and a better quality of life for vulnerable populations through stronger community-based services.
Through interregional cooperation and the exchange of policy experiences, FABCOM brings together 8 organisations from European regions to address common challenges in care systems, strengthen community-based support structures, and improve policies that foster social inclusion and person-centred care.
The 1st Newsletter of FABCOM introduces the project’s vision, objectives, partnership, and first activities, highlighting the collaborative efforts underway to advance the deinstitutionalisation process and build more inclusive communities.
