To strengthen our evidence-based approach and ensure high-quality research outputs across our initiatives, we are looking for an experienced Research Manager to coordinate and guide research activities within EU-funded projects. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and methodological skills (both qualitative and quantitative), ability to interpret and present complex data in an accessible way, and a collaborative, multidisciplinary mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and guide the work of researchers, ensuring quality, coherence, and timely delivery of research outputs
- Lead the production of research reports, policy briefs and analytical deliverables, ensuring accuracy and clarity of findings
- Apply and integrate both quantitative and qualitative research methods to design, collect, and interpret data
- Present research results and statistical analyses in a clear, concise, and accessible way to non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to methodological design, literature reviews, data frameworks, and applied analysis across various thematic areas.
- Support and mentor team members, promoting consistent quality and methodological rigor
- Represents KMOP with key stakeholders, including local, regional, national and EU government bodies, donors, research centers, and think tanks, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- Contribute to the ideation and preparation of new project proposals and research activities aligned with KMOP’s priorities
REQUIREMENTS
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Political or Social Sciences) with extensive research experience in applied settings
- Proven experience in research design, data analysis and reporting, preferably within EU-funded projects, research institutes, or think tanks
- Excellent command of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the ability to integrate them effectively
- Knowledge of statistical and descriptive analysis tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (oral and written) in English and Greek, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
