Life and Language Skills + Intersectionality for Migrant Women Integration
GA number: 2025-1-IT02-KA220-ADU-000360054
Funded by: Erasmus+ Duration: 1/10/2025 – 30/09/2027

Challenge
Migration to the EU continues to grow, creating new challenges for the social and economic integration of migrants. Migrant women often face multiple and intersecting barriers linked to both their gender and migration status.
Limited access to education, employment and language learning, combined with family responsibilities and weaker social networks, can reduce their opportunities to fully participate in their host communities. At the same time, professionals working on integration often lack practical, gender-sensitive approaches to address these challenges effectively. Addressing these inequalities requires more inclusive and accessible learning opportunities that respond to migrant women’s diverse needs.
Innovation
LiLI supports the integration of migrant women through an inclusive digital learning platform that combines language learning with practical life skills. Using a flexible microlearning approach, the project makes learning more accessible while helping women develop the skills they need to participate in their host communities. In parallel, LiLI provides practical resources for educators, social professionals and policymakers to strengthen more inclusive and gender-sensitive integration practices.
