From November to June, KMOP, in collaboration with the National Centre for Social Solidarity, trained 204 frontline professionals to strengthen their ability to prevent, identify, and respond to human trafficking.
Participants came from key sectors including airports, road and maritime transport services, reception and identification centres, labour inspection services, secondary education, and the tourism industry. Through the training, they improved their ability to:
-
Recognise the main forms of human trafficking
-
Identify critical indicators suggesting potential victimisation
-
Apply prevention strategies and provide appropriate support in real-life scenarios
-
Integrate cultural sensitivity into communication and intervention
-
Use available protection tools and referral mechanisms effectively
The training sessions were hands-on and tailored to the real needs of professionals who are often the first to spot signs of exploitation. Our sessions focused on equipping them to act responsibly and methodically to protect potential victims — and themselves — in complex situations.
Take part in the upcoming training and play a key role in combating human trafficking in Greece
