Enhancing sustainability awareness with a new self-assessment tool

KMOP presents a new online resource to help schools, teachers, and students reflect on and develop their sustainability competences. This innovative tool, the GATE Self-Assessment Tool, enables school communities to evaluate their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in sustainability, using the GreenComp European Sustainability Competence Framework as a guide.

Through the tool, students, teachers, and school managers can assess their knowledge, skills, and attitudes across four key areas of sustainability. It provides practical guidance to identify strengths, highlight areas for improvement, and integrate sustainability more effectively into classrooms, school culture, and decision-making processes.

The tool offers three tailored pathways: for students, teachers, and school managers, each including reflective questionnaires and personalized feedback with practical suggestions to support sustainable development within the school.

If you are involved in education, you can explore the tool here.

Answer the questions and receive tailored feedback to enhance sustainability practices in your school community!

The GATE Self-Assessment Tool was developed within the framework of the GATE project – GreenComp Assessment for Transformative Education and is based on the GreenComp European Sustainability Competence Framework.
