KMOP joined forces with 13 organisations from across Europe to strengthen the emerging role of the Social Impact Manager, a professional who helps businesses create measurable social and environmental value alongside economic growth. Through the “SIM project”, we developed an innovative training programme, practical tools, and learning resources designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to assess, manage, and maximise social impact within their organisations.
Bringing together universities, business networks, vocational education providers, and civil society organisations, “SIM” fostered cross-sector collaboration and helped establish social impact management as an emerging professional field. By supporting organisations to integrate social responsibility into their strategies and operations, “SIM” has helped lay the foundations for more sustainable, inclusive, and impact-driven business practices across Europe.
