HEAL | Supporting the integration of women victims of trafficking

Trafficking

There are an estimated 24.9 million people trapped in forced labour, out of whom 4.8 million are victims of forced sexual exploitation, according to the International Labour Organization (2017 Study).

The HEAL project – enhancing rEcovery and ingrAtion through networking, employment training and psychological support for women victims of trafficking – is our contribution to the anti-trafficking effort.

The project aims to facilitate the integration of third country national women victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation through the implementation of a comprehensive process of recovery based on competence-building, psychological support to women and enhanced cooperation between key actors.

Read the project’s first Newsletter and learn more about the European Networking Day, that took place on July, and our future activities.
