Addressing human trafficking in Greece: The role of frontline professionals and social partners

KMOP, in collaboration with EKKA – National Centre for Social Solidarity and SolidarityNow, invites you to the event “Addressing human trafficking in Greece: The role of frontline professionals and social partners”, taking place on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the Ionian Centre (11 Lysiou Street, Plaka) from 15:30 to 18:30.

According to the latest report of the National Referral Mechanism for the Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking (NRM), Greece has seen a significant rise in referrals in recent years—from an annual average of 159 during 2019–2021, to 358 in 2022, and 533 in 2023. The real number of victims is likely higher, as many cases remain unidentified. This trend highlights the need to strengthen identification mechanisms and deepen cooperation across all relevant actors.
