We are pleased to share the 3rd Women on Board newsletter, highlighting the latest developments and insights from across the project as regions work to strengthen women’s participation and representation in the blue economy.
This edition features the new Gender Parity in Blue Economy Synthesis Report, bringing together evidence from seven regions and identifying key challenges and policy priorities for advancing gender equality. It also highlights the project’s 3rd interregional meeting in Trøndelag, Norway, where stakeholders exchanged regional experiences and explored approaches linking industry, education and research. The newsletter also showcases 21 good practices from across Europe, demonstrating how policy innovation, training, financial support and workplace measures can help create more inclusive blue economy labour markets.
