“Different Roots, Shared Futures: A Celebration of Community & Storytelling”

Every person carries a story. When stories are shared, they have the power to build understanding, challenge stereotypes, and bring people closer together.

KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre invites you to the event “Different Roots, Shared Futures: A Celebration of Community & Storytelling”  taking place within Athens Refugee Week on Friday 19 June 2026, from 17:30 to 21:00 (Tzavella 106, Piraeus).

Through open dialogue, storytelling, educational workshops, music, and cultural exchange, the event will bring together young people, community representatives, civil society organisations, artists, and institutional actors to celebrate diversity, strengthen community connections, foster youth participation, and explore how we can build more inclusive communities.

At the heart of the event is participation. We invite you to share your experiences, perspectives, and ideas, engage in meaningful conversations, and contribute to a collective reflection on belonging, inclusion, and community life. Because stronger communities are built when every voice is heard.
