How can we design emergency mechanisms that truly support migrant integration?
KMOP announces the launch of the first Policy Lab of the EPIC-UP project, taking place on 30 September from 09:30 to 13:15 CEST). This event will bring together practitioners, policymakers, and experts to co-create solutions and exchange knowledge on how emergency mechanisms can better respond to the needs of migrants and refugees.
The Policy Lab forms part of KMOP’s broader commitment to promoting inclusion and strengthening support systems for vulnerable groups, in line with our long-standing work in the field of migration and integration.

Collaborative breakout sessions

Why this matters
Emergency mechanisms are often designed for rapid crisis management. Yet, when it comes to migrants and refugees, these systems should do more than provide immediate relief. They should also enable long-term integration, protection, and empowerment.
Through this Policy Lab, KMOP aims to foster a space where policy meets practice, ensuring that migrant voices and needs are considered in shaping effective responses.
