KMOP announces a new online space for youth wellbeing and participation

new online space

Feeling well and feeling part of something bigger go hand in hand. When young people feel supported, confident and connected, they are more likely to take part in their communities, speak up for others and shape the future they want to see.

With this in mind, KMOP has launched a new online learning platform designed to strengthen young people’s mental health, resilience and active citizenship. It offers a space for learning, sharing and inspiration, helping young people and youth workers turn care for themselves into action for their communities.

Empowering youth as changemakers

At KMOP, we have developed this platform on a simple idea: good mental health fuels participation, and participation supports good mental health. By linking emotional well-being with civic engagement, we help young people develop the confidence, empathy and practical skills they need to take an active role in society.

What’s inside for you

The platform offers engaging and easy-to-use resources that bring learning to life:

  • A Youth Worker’s Manual with practical guidance on inclusion, dialogue, emotional intelligence and youth participation.
  • The YouthNet Forum, where young people and professionals from across Europe can exchange ideas and experiences.
  • A Podcast Series exploring topics such as “Let’s Talk Mental Health”, “Active Citizenship and Lifelong Learning”, and “The Sound of Borders: Inclusive Societies”.
  • An Open Educational Resources Library, with stories, tools and activities for creative learning.

Learning that inspires action

Through the YouthWell E-Course, participants will:

  • Understand how to look after their mental health and well-being, and support others to do the same.
  • Build emotional intelligence and resilience to cope with challenges and connect with others.
  • Learn to think critically and communicate constructively, both online and offline.
  • Take part in inclusive dialogue, reduce discrimination and foster mutual respect.
  • Design and lead community projects that promote inclusion, well-being and active citizenship.

By nurturing young people’s mental health and their capacity to participate, we are investing in Europe’s most powerful force for positive change.
