KMOP, in collaboration with six European organizations, has developed an insightful Scoping Study that highlights successful youth engagement practices in climate action across local, national, and European levels.

The study is intended for youth workers, policymakers, and all stakeholders involved in youth and decision-making processes. The creation of this Scoping Study was primarily driven by the lack of a systematic body of work analyzing and assessing youth participation in climate action decision-making at various levels. Specifically, the study focuses on identifying initiatives and methodologies that incorporate principles of participatory and deliberative democracy.
The Scoping Study was developed within the Erasmus+ Project “The CLIMentines – Empowered Youth for Climate Action.” This project aims to foster a new generation of young people, empowered by youth workers, who possess the knowledge and tools to actively engage in and influence climate action policies in their countries and at the European level.
