Game on. Violence off.
In a bold move to confront gender-based violence in sport, KMOP teamed up with five European countries to roll out a suite of educational resources. Designed for those working at every level of sport, the tools champion a proactive approach to equality, safety, and inclusion on and off the field.
Boost your knowledge on gender-based violence in sport
The new self-paced training course “Sport GVP” will help you:
- Understand how gender shapes relationships, opportunities, and inequalities in sport and how you can promote equality in your daily work
- Recognise the many forms gender-based violence can take within sports settings, why it often remains hidden, and what factors increase the risks
- Develop practical skills to identify early signs of abusive behaviour
- Learn how to support victims effectively, appreciate the importance of psychosocial recovery, and understand the role you can play in healing
Put prevention into practice
The specially designed “Sport GVP” guide supports you to:
- Design and implement gender-based violence prevention policies tailored to your organisation’s needs
- Strengthen your leadership role by understanding how your decisions and attitudes can address the culture of silence
- Appreciate the value of collaboration between staff, coaches, administrators, and policymakers
