KMOP, together with five European organisations, participated in a webinar held on 26 October to discuss the EMBRACE project, which aims to promote inclusion in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).
The main aim of the webinar, which was coordinated by Emphasys Centre (Cyprus), was the presentation of the EMBRACE project, the project’s results, as well as an open discussion regarding the inclusivity of children with intellectual disabilities into ECEC.
A total of 353 participants joined the webinar, mainly ECEC teachers, staff, heads of schools and parents.
The EMBRACE project is an Erasmus+ project, running between January 2022 and December 2023 with the objective to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of early childhood education and care through the inclusion of children with intellectual disabilities. The partner organisations are from Belgium (EASPD), Greece (KMOP and RDPSEA), Poland (Teatr Grodzki), Cyprus (Emphasys Centre) and North Macedonia (KMOP Skopje).
