Sexual harassment in the workplace remains a pressing issue, affecting one in fifteen workers globally (ILO, 2022). Women, in particular, face heightened vulnerability compared to their male colleagues. In the European Union, recent statistics from the European Institute for Gender Equality reveal that one in three women has experienced sexual harassment at work.
To address this challenge, KMOP, in collaboration with IVEPE-SEV and European partners, has developed the TEAMWORK 2 platform. This comprehensive resource provides employers, managers, and HR professionals with essential tools to identify and effectively address incidents of workplace sexual harassment.
Through the platform, users can access training material on:
- Recognizing the forms and signs of workplace sexual harassment and its impact on victims.
- Understanding victims’ rights and the legal frameworks in Europe and Greece.
- Developing effective policies and internal procedures to combat sexual harassment.
- Supporting victims and fostering a culture where complaints are encouraged.
- Designing employee trainings on prevention and response to sexual harassment.
This complete educational program is available in seven languages: Greek, English, Italian, French, Bulgarian, Croatian, and Catalan. The platform offers asynchronous learning and is completely free to use.
