KMOP participates in the EU-funded “Our Digital Village” project that aims to intervene in rural areas by promoting the acquisition of digital and transversal skills, preparing people to face the challenges of the future. It will do so by co-creating high-quality educational content that responds to the needs of the local context, while simultaneously ensuring the long-term transformation towards digitalisation through active awareness raising on all levels of society.
During the first year of the project’s implementation, some highlights include the identification of problems and needs of rural communities about digital education; the publishing of a Manual for content analysis; and the organization of info sessions and seminars to raise awareness about the importance of digital and transversal skills.
