Shaping the future of housing in Europe

Housing affordability has become one of the biggest challenges facing people and communities across Europe. Rising rents, limited housing supply, increasing living costs and unequal access to adequate housing are making it increasingly difficult for many people to find a safe, suitable and affordable home.

KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre invites you to the European online dialogue “Shaping the Future of Housing in Europe”, bringing citizens together with policymakers and practitioners to discuss the future of affordable and inclusive housing. The dialogue will take place online on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, from 11:00 to 13:00 CEST / 12:00 to 14:00 EEST.

Register now.

Language: Multilingual participation supported through digital tools.

Among the speakers will be:

  • Stefan Moser, Head of Unit, Task Force Housing, European Commission DG ENER, who will present the Affordable Housing Act
  • Michaela Kauer, Director of the Brussels Office of the City of Vienna
