The Book of Proceedings of the NATURELAB International Workshop I, held on 9–10 October 2025 in Amsterdam, has now been published, bringing together the research and discussions presented during the event. The workshop focused on exploring the connections among nature, health, and sustainable urban environments, providing an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge on nature-based solutions and interventions. These approaches are increasingly recognised for their potential to support health and wellbeing while fostering more resilient and sustainable communities.

The publication compiles the papers and key insights shared during the workshop, covering topics such as indicators and methodologies for nature-based interventions, environmental monitoring in natural spaces, cultural ecosystem services, and the integration of nature-based approaches into healthcare systems and wider society.

KMOP played an active role in the workshop as a member of its Scientific and Technical Committee. During the event, KMOP also presented its work on Social Innovation to Support the Uptake of Nature-Based Interventions (NBIs), highlighting approaches that strengthen community engagement and support the wider adoption of nature-based interventions in practice.
