The Women on Board project, with KMOP contributing to its implementation, continues its mission to advance gender equality across Europe’s blue economy by empowering women’s participation in maritime and marine sectors and addressing structural gender imbalances.
Through interregional cooperation and shared policy learning, Women on Board brings together organisations from regions of Cyprus, Belgium, Norway, Greece, Germany, France, Albania, and Romania to promote inclusive regional reforms, improve access to training and employment, and support the development of safer and more equitable working environments for women in the blue economy.
