The final transnational conference of the BASE project, dedicated to the rights of migrant girls to a child-friendly justice in cases of sexual abuse, will take place online on Monday, March 22, 2021, 11.30-13.30 (UTC+2).
Human Rights advocates, support service professionals, survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (GBV), representatives of Civil Society Organisations and migrant community representatives in 8 European countries will come together to discuss how to deliver information and support judicial processes in child-friendly and culturally sensitive manner.
Discussing in particular the role that Cultural Advisors / Community Advocates can have in raising awareness on GBV, advocating for the rights of girls, and supporting professionals handling cases of sexual abuse.

About BASE
BASE is a project is aiming to contribute to the development and sustainability of inclusive support services in cases of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) against women and young girls, by empowering migrant and refugee women as cultural advisors and by increasing the capacity of support professionals to communicate and understand socio-cultural factors.
