Join us for an inspiring discussion on climate action and the role of senior citizens in building a greener future!
With adults aged 65 and over representing 21% of Europe’s population, their engagement in the green transition is both vital and timely. Through artistic expression, senior citizens can share unique perspectives, encourage their peers, and help shape more sustainable communities.
KMOP is bringing together citizens, environmental experts, and community stakeholders for a public discussion on climate change and creative expression, taking place on Wednesday, 2 July 2025, from 17:00 to 19:00, at When Hub, Sokratous 29, Athens 105 52.
In this event, we will explore how visual arts —such as painting and photography can serve as a powerful tool to raise environmental awareness, mobilise communities and foster civic participation among seniors. The event will feature a panel discussion with project partners and experts, a presentation of key findings, and an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
