KMOP calls on practitioners within Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), judicial bodies, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to participate in a survey that will deepen our understanding of the needs, challenges, and current practices related to data collection, management, analysis, and exchange in cases of discrimination.
This survey will focus on:
- Exploring current practices and methodologies in data handling, including collection, analysis, and exchange.
- Identifying key challenges and unmet needs in managing and sharing data.
- Examining tools and practices—especially AI- and OSINT-based systems—used to prevent bias in data processing.
The results of this survey, along with insights from interviews and a literature review, will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive needs assessment. This assessment aims to:
- Evaluate existing practices across Europe and in the four countries involved in our consortium.
- Identify areas where improvements can enhance compliance with the EU AI Act.
- Highlight effective practices to inform a standardized methodology for data management on discrimination.
Your participation is vital to creating a fairer, bias-aware approach to data use in combating discrimination.
